The spirit of the above beloved quote made by Jesus over 2,000 years ago is not limited to just the species of the lily family, but can also apply to any lovely flower of the field. Taking time to contemplate the natural beauty that effortlessly surrounds us,—qualities such as grace, refinement, color, fragrance, and form—often inspires men and women to think past negativity and narrow-mindedness, limited or self-centered habits, and any obstacles that stand in our way of seeing the good that is already here right in front of us.
The lightly scented Yellow Lady Banks rose, which was originally discovered in subtropical China during the late 1700s, looks terrific next to a purple bearded Iris!
