Welcome to Fern Lodge! The new entrance and reception area are finished, and with just a little more landscaping, we’ll be ready for summer. We hope you will come visit us. Our two Shirleys, Shirley Carroll weekdays and Shirley Sheals weekends, look forward to welcoming you warmly and helping you feel at home while you get to know Fern Lodge better.
A highlight of the reception room is the display of beautiful bouquets grown and arranged by our masterful gardener, Ken Gourley. On the website, fernlodge.org, under the Videos tab, Ken gives some valuable tips for growing roses.
Shirley Carroll, smiling from behind the new reception desk in the picture to the left, 
says: “I love being at work at Fern Lodge in the new reception area. The character of the room itself enhances the ‘lodge’ part of our name, especially with the crafted redwood high beams used so artfully around the raised ceiling. And, the new windows gloriously let in the light and give wonderful views. The furnishings, decor, and office area are superb and convey a beautiful, serene, efficient, and welcoming sense to anyone passing through: visitors, staff, and residents. It says, ‘Welcome to Fern Lodge.’”

¡Bienvenido a Fern Lodge! La nueva entrada y el área de recepción están finalmente terminadas, y solo faltan unos últimos retoques para que estemos listos para el verano. Esperamos que vengas a visitarnos. Nuestras dos Shirleys, Shirley Carroll los días laborables, y Shirley Sheals los fines de semana, los esperan con los brazos abiertos para darles la bienvenida y ayudarlos a sentirse como en casa mientras se familiarizan con Fern Lodge.

Además, las maravillosas ventanas nuevas dejan entrar la luz y enmarcan maravillosas vistas. El mobiliario, la decoración, y el área de la oficina son excelentes y transmiten una sensación hermosa, serena, eficiente y de bienvenida a cualquier persona que pasa: visitantes, personal y residentes. Dice: “Bienvenido a Fern Lodge”.
